And I’m so happy and so proud to see a film about a trans woman that didn’t cast a cis actress and instead ACTUALLY cast a trans woman in the role doing well <3
saoirse ronan and katie mcgrath, gay irish icons, acting in a film directed by gay icon greta gerwig. during the closing scene it’d play a tragic gay song by gay irish icon hozier. and like, nobody would understand shit of what either saoirse or katie say bc they’re incomprehensible gay irish icons, but the film would still get nominated for multiple oscars and people would not only give it a standing ovation, but would also weep because of the powerful gay vibes
